Besides our primary function, the band has expanded its purpose to promote the appreciation of piping music. Locally, we have participated in many memorial services, parades, and public performances, including the Pittsburgh St Patrick's Day parade, the Ligonier Highland Games, WQED Channel 13 with the Irish Tenors and several shows at Finnegan's Wake and the Harp & Fiddle tavern.
On the national level we have participated annually at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial services in Washington, D.C. and the 10,000 piper "Tunes of Glory" parade in New York City.
We are actively recruiting law enforcement officers to join our band.
Lessons for pipers and drummers available.
Besides funerals, the entire band, or individual pipers, are available for parades, parties, weddings and many other special events to play traditional Irish, Scottish and American tunes.
Contact Pipe Major Mike Scott at 412-370-9959 for more information about hiring the band or becoming a member!
We are proud of what has been accomplished in our short history and look forward to serving the community in the future.
